Biography

Peter Morgan (born 10 April 1963) is an Academy Award nominated English screenwriter and playwright, best known for writing the plays and films The Deal, The Queen, The Last King of Scotland, and Frost/Nixon.

Morgan was born in London, and attended boarding school at Downside School, Somerset. He gained a degree in Fine Art from the University of Leeds.

He lives with his Austrian wife Lila Schwarzenberg and their daughters and three sons in Vienna.
